Notes: Fazenda Coqueiro, located in Mantiqueria de Minas, is owned by Jonatas Carneiro. Nestled in the Mantiqueira Mountains, Jonatas's farm has become renowned for excellent coffee, experimenting with post harvest technology, soil, and new processing techniques. This particular bean is pulped natural (honey processed) and exhibits notes of caramel, green apple, and pastry crust with a medium body and nutty finish.

Notes: Farmers Project was founded by Jonathan Jost and Marianella Baez Jost of Cafe Con Amor as a way to help local farmers in Costa Rica sell their coffee for a fair price to support their workers, farms, and families. Since then, Farmers Project has grown to include many farmers who share the vision, collaborating to learn, share best practices, and export specialty coffee together.

Variety: Heirloom

Notes: Ripe cherries are delivered to the Wonberta’s Edido washing station where coffees are sorted and dried on raised beds. In order to promote even drying, the coffees are turned every 2 to 3 hours in the first few days, then regularly for up to six weeks until the coffee is fully dried.

Notes: This Gayo wet-hulled coffee goes through an extra round of hand-sorting at the dry mill to mimimize defects and improve clarity in cup quality. The coffee exporter in Sumatra, Santiang Exports, works with many small producers in the area to make improvements in drying, sorting, and process control.
