Notes: Coffee from Kirinyaga County, located in the Central Province of Kenya, is renowned for its exceptional body and sweetness. The fertile clay loam soil and ideal yearly rainfall create perfect growing conditions for the county's small coffee producers. This Kenya Kirinyaga is a peaberry coffee featuring rich notes of molasses and fig with subtle notes of citrus grapefruit. Peaberry coffee beans are easily identified by their small size and uniform shape. A peaberry occurs when only one coffee bean is present within a coffee cherry instead of the typical two.
